Stephanie’s Story & Education

Stephanie Feld began her career where most family lawyers do: in the courtroom. Called to the Ontario bar in 2017, and the Saskatchewan bar in 2018, she quickly saw how traditional courtroom battles exacerbate conflict, and leave families with substantial legal bills. Determined to offer a better way, Stephanie trained in alternative dispute resolution and became an Accredited Family Mediator with OAFM in 2021. She now offers mediation and negotiated settlements in all areas of family law, including parenting arrangements, support, property division, separation, divorce and domestic contracts, for clients across Ontario.

Her psychology background gives her deep insight into family dynamics, while her legal experience provides her with the framework and resources necessary to help clients come to unique and lasting resolutions. Her goal is to allow families to move forward with confidence by empowering them with an understanding of family law, and their rights and responsibilities for the future.

During law school she volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada’s Family Law Project and Western University’s Community Legal clinic, assisting low-income clients navigating the court process. Stephanie was also a finalist in the Tory’s Negotiation Competition, and has continued to hone her negotiation skills since.
