Hilary’s Story & Education

Hilary’s path to founding Angrove Law is anything but conventional and that breadth isn’t a detour: it’s her edge. Hilary’s began her career in sales where she earned an education in grit. She moved into digital marketing, passed the LSAT, and earned her place at Dalhousie University’s law school. From there she used her sales and legal background to join the team that lobbied the federal government for $755 million in funding for social enterprises, helped build a divorce-on-demand legal tool, completed her articling at a downtown law firm. Considering leaving the law, Hilary co-founded MYMT, a digital marketing agency now focuses on coaching law firms on how to grow quickly.

Hilary co-founded Angrove Law during the early years of motherhood, which made one thing immediately clear: she wanted a firm that rewarded efficiency, clarity, and results. Each role in the legal industry reinforced her vision; most people don’t need a courtroom and big legal bills, they need clear documents, fair pricing, efficient services, and a lawyer who actually returns calls. Angrove Law was built on that promise.

Hilary’s Education and Certificates

Hilary received her Juris Doctorate from Dalhousie’s Schulich School of Law in 2020 and called to the bar in 2021. She completed her undergraduate at McGill, is certified bilingual by the Federal Government of Canada, received the Nova Scotia’s Barrister’s Society Award for contribution to community development, and was one of Canada’s Top 20 Under 20.
